New opportunity to influence the growth of an outstanding company – GLS is seeking a top tier talent to serve as Inside Sales Supervisor in our Tempe, AZ office!  This is a tremendous opportunity for a talented, creative and business-focused Inside Sales leader to work with an exceptional team and leading-edge technologies to build a business! The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of Market Coordinators and Dealer Enrollment Coordinators to increase company market share by signing new dealers, driving for quality applications, developing and maintaining positive business relationships, and increasing awareness of the company program. This is a working supervisory position that is also responsible for directly contributing to the production of the team & maintaining an assigned queue.

How will you drive value within the organization?

  • Motivate and lead a team – provide quality training, guidance, performance coaching and feedback, to meet and exceed company volume and quality expectations
  • Monitor performance of assigned staff against prescribed metrics using appropriate departmental reports
  • Act as subject matter expert in support of onboarding new associates and as general support to assigned team
  • Develop and maintain positive business relationships with dealers through daily conversations and solicitations while educating on company products
  • Build and expand the assigned territory by identifying and enrolling new dealerships and driving for quality applications
  • Review dealer agreements for completion and accuracy; partner with dealers to resolve any outstanding items related to their agreement
  • Provide exceptional customer service through effective and timely communications and responsiveness to all dealer agreement processing questions and inquiries
  • Establish and track monthly dealer signup objectives for assigned team members
  • Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
  • Maintain a daily employee work schedule that effectively meets the needs of the business unit and company
  • Review daily reports to optimize workflow efficiency; ensure the team meets service level expectations of internal and external customers

What should you already know to be successful in this role?

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree required. Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C3) with commensurate experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be considered
  • Experience in an auto finance operational role or auto industry experience preferred
  • People management experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent sales skills with an ability to think quickly in a dynamic environment to overcome resistance
  • Ability to solve problems under pressure and provide creative solutions when necessary
  • Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, effectively manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships across the business
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
  • Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
  • Experience in report writing and development methodology
  • Exceptional internal and external service orientation
