GLS is seeking a Finance and Capital Markets professional to serve as a Funding Supervisor in our Greenville, SC office.

What does it mean to be a Funding Supervisor with GLS?

The Dealer Administration Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of associates to execute assigned functions of the Dealer Administration processes with accuracy and speed.   This is a working supervisory position that is also responsible for directly contributing to the production of the team. 

What will you do each day to ensure success?

  • Support daily team production requirements and business development efforts by:
    • Answering incoming calls from dealers, agents, and company sales representatives
    • Acting as primary resource on program related matters, expertly answering questions and providing support
    • Managing information related to dealer/agent conversations, required follow ups, and managing dealer profiles in Loan Origination System and Passport
    • Receiving, verifying and processing all incoming mail documents pertaining to new dealer sign-ups
    • Organizing and filing dealer agreements
  • Research, develop, implement and support the daily execution of an efficient work flow to properly prioritize tasks.
  • Maintain acceptable turnaround time to achieve production targets and service level requirements.
  • Act as subject matter expert in support of onboarding new associates and as general support to assigned team(s).
  • Provide training, guidance and mentoring to assigned team(s) as needed.
  • Provide continuous feedback related to Dealer Administration processes and procedures and recommend improvement as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of all department policy and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
What should you already know to be successful in this role?
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Financial services and/or auto industry experience preferred
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to establish priorities and properly manage multiple high priority tasks
  • Confident self-starter that operates well with limited supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Able to work effectively in partnership with the other team members
  • Self-motivated, high energy, organized and able to work in a fast pace setting with a drive toward achieving results

Employment Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the work day
  • Frequently communicates with fellow associates, members of management and external customers.  Must be able to clearly express oneself and exchange accurate information in these situations
  • Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment 

Schedule:

  • This position is full-time, and the applicant should be available to work a set schedule during the department’s hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
