Tremendous opportunity to grow with an emerging leader in consumer finance – Global Lending Services (“GLS”) is seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning Analyst in our Greenville, SC headquarters.

The Financial Planning Analyst will be an integral member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team that is responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, financial reporting and cost control initiatives within GLS.  The Analyst will be expected to develop a ‘top-down’ view of the key financial drivers of GLS while also developing and managing systems to control costs in the daily operations.  The right candidate will need the ability to understand financial models and work with concepts such as variance analyses while also having the professional maturity to partner with business leaders on an array of financial initiatives.
 

Primary Duties:

  • Develop and prepare internal and external financial analyses and reports for Management and the Company’s Board of Directors
  • Establish and evaluate monthly and annual financial plans
  • Develop systems and processes to monitor and control operating costs
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations to senior management for improvement

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting/Finance/Economics/Engineering/Mathematics) required

Skills:

  • At least two years of corporate finance experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability
  • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with executive management
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, ambition, and self-motivation with a desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; deadline oriented
