Tremendous opportunity to influence the growth of an outstanding company – GLS is seeking a top-tier talent to serve as Contract Resolution Coordinator. The role will report to the Senior Manager, Credit and operate from our Greenville, SC office. The Contract Resolution Coordinator is responsible for reviewing funding packages that have been returned due to insufficiency. This position is responsible to determine and take necessary actions to obtain the information needed to complete the funding application, ensuring accuracy and verifying stated information provided during the loan application process.

How will you drive value within the organization?

  • Manage funding packages that have been returned due to insufficiency; review for compliance with company, state and federal guidelines, including reviewing/clearing contract errors, restructuring deals to ensure program guidelines are met, reviewing/correcting income, verifying collateral, and performing customer interviews
  • Investigate and verify proof of employment, income, residence and insurance as required
  • Address funding issues, including escalating issues as necessary
  • Maintain acceptable turnaround time to achieve volume targets
  • Provide continuous feedback related to funding processes and procedures and recommend improvement as needed
  • Maintain electronic records and files
  • Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management

What should you already know to be successful in this role? 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C1) level with commensurate experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be considered
  • Financial services and/or auto industry experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Confident self-starter that operates well with limited supervision
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of work
  • Basic computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required 
  • Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
  • Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies

Employment Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Schedules fall within dept. hours of operation between 8am and 8pm, and are TBD
  • Remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the work day
  • Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment 
  • Talk and hear to exchange accurate information
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Stoop and kneel to maintain files
