What does it mean to be a Funding Coordinator with GLS?

Tremendous opportunity to influence the growth of an outstanding company – GLS is seeking a top tier talent to serve as a Funding Coordinator. The role will report to the Buying Manager and operate from our Greenville, SC office.

How will you drive value within the organization?

• Develop and maintain positive business relationships with dealers; providing exceptional customer service, effective and timely communications and responsiveness to all funding questions and inquiries while maintaining a high level of integrity
• Assist dealers with accurate completion of funding packages
• Notify dealers as to status of loan packages
• Identify and track funding errors at the dealership level; provide feedback to the Sales and Buying teams regarding dealership performance to ensure contracts are funded within guidelines
• Maintain acceptable turnaround time to achieve volume targets
• Maintain electronic records and files
• Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
• Participate in special projects as needed
• Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management

What should you already know to be successful in this role? 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C2) level with commensurate experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be considered
• Financial services and/or auto industry experience preferred
• Confident self-starter that operates well with limited supervision
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels inside and outside of the organization
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively set and manage multiple conflicting priorities
• Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
•  Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required 
• Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies

• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Schedules fall within dept. hours of operation between 9am and 7pm and are TBD.
