What will you do each day to accomplish the mission?
  • Directly supervise 10+ employees
  • Engage and inspire team members to ensure individual and team goals are met on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis
  • Assess department and company results and metrics to gage team performance and develop collection calling strategies for continuous improvement
  • Conduct monthly coaching sessions with team members based on scorecard results, phone monitoring and side by side floor observations
  • Lead team meetings and continuous training sessions  to ensure effective communication, instill a sense of urgency and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Evaluate employee performance, compose and deliver performance appraisals in an efficient and constructive manner
  • Exercise sound judgment based on company policies and regulatory legal regulations
  • Manage all policies and procedures to ensure they are applicable and current
  • Handle interviews, employee time sheets, requests for vacation or time off and disciplinary actions
  • Contribute to creating work schedules that maximize contact rates to improve delinquency while balancing work/life needs of the team
  • Handle escalated calls, disputes and maintain professional phone etiquette skills
  • Other assignments as needed

What should you already know to be successful in this role?
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership/supervisory position in Loss Prevention preferred
  • Experience with consumer lending/auto financing a plus
  • Well developed planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks during constantly fluctuating volumes
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute strategies
  • Proven ability to build partnerships and direct teams
  • Strong training, coaching, and motivational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point)

  • Competitive team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
 
Schedule:
This position is full-time, schedules include a variety of day, evening and weekend hours.
