GLS is seeking a people-oriented professional to support our growing organization as Funding Manager in our Greenville, SC office.

What does it mean to be a Funding Manager with GLS?
  • Mentor and motivate assigned team(s), including use of alternative motivational methods, to maximize productivity, generate results and foster teamwork
  • Facilitate regularly scheduled team meetings to build communication and allow for training and discussion on departmental and company matters
  • Consistently track, coach and manage performance of team members, including coordination of work schedules, to meet and exceed company volume and quality expectations
  • Manage work flows and growth of team with a focus on increasing efficiency, enhancing processing and optimizing results
  • Partner with IT to leverage technology to streamline processes, improve quality and eliminate waste
  • Drive innovative solutions to improve both the dealer experience and consumer experience
  • Be a champion for the culture of the organization, helping GLS achieve its goal of being one of the top places to work
What will you do each day to ensure success?
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Financial Services Industry experience preferred
  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and influencing skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, personal ownership and drive towards results
  • Experience leading teams to effectively deliver business results while successfully balancing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and enhance processes to improve business results
  • Proven ability to leverage technology in business operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Exceptional interpersonal and facilitation skills
  • Advanced computer skills including but not limited to Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet research

Schedule:

This position is full-time with occasional overtime as necessary.
